Running at 22:06 per mile across a course that threads between 7,691 and 14,052 feet — where the air is thin enough to humble athletes at any age — she held a steady position of 7th among all women for the bulk of the race, climbing as high as 5th at one checkpoint before finishing 7th in the women's field. Her 4th-fastest women's split on the Telluride→Krogers leg was a genuine highlight, a moment where she was moving among the very best women on the mountain regardless of age. She crossed in 36:49:47 to claim the F50-54 title.

Margaret Gordon, 50, made the trip from Albuquerque to Silverton and delivered a measured, resilient effort. She dipped as far back as 16th among women at two separate checkpoints before working her way back to 13th, where she settled and held. Her 7th-fastest women's split on the Sherman→Pole Creek segment showed real strength in the back half of the course. She finished in 40:50:06 — more than four hours behind Askew, but a legitimate Hardrock finish at 24:30 per mile across this terrain.

Gina Harcrow, 54, from Monument, Colorado, closed out the three-woman field in 47:37:01. Running at 28:34 per mile, she tracked between 22nd and 25th among women all day with remarkable consistency, and her 19th-fastest women's split on Grouse Gulch→Burrows showed she still had something to give late in the race. Finishing Hardrock at any pace is its own achievement on a course this unforgiving — Harcrow did it in under 48 hours.
