Sitting 2nd through the checkpoints, the 32-year-old from San Francisco dropped the fastest women's split of the day on the Snow King→FINISH segment to take the win in 28:44 — averaging a blistering 4:12/mi. Her closing move left a 2:58 gap back to the rest of the podium.

Behind her, Paige Kouba made this a genuine progression story: 5th among the women here in 2024, she held 3rd through the checkpoints and moved up to finish 2nd in 31:42.
