The story at the front of the Masters Men field was as clean as it gets: Cannon Lomax of Opdyke, IL, and David Bradley of Eads, TN, both clicked off 6:16-per-mile averages across 6.2 miles in genuinely nasty conditions. Lomax got there in 38:55, Bradley in 38:58 — a 3-second gap that separated a winner from a runner-up. Lomax was moving well through the middle of the race, posting the 7th-fastest men's split on the 1.55M–2.5M segment and sitting 8th among men at that checkpoint. Bradley, meanwhile, was still working his way up, running 15th among men at that same mark. It was the final stretch that made this a race — Bradley's 7th-fastest men's closing split brought him charging home, but Lomax had just enough cushion to hold on.

Parker Rhett of Memphis made it a local podium, finishing 3rd in 42:50 (6:54/mi) — a full four minutes back, but with a solid 29th-fastest men's middle split keeping him comfortably clear of 4th. That 4th spot belonged to Harrell Chesson of Atlanta, whose 43:55 (7:04/mi) finish came via the day's most dramatic arc: he was buried 134th among men through the first checkpoint, then unleashed a 24th-fastest men's closing split to climb all the way to 37th among men at the line. Todd Murray of Colorado Springs rounded out the top five in 44:53 (7:13/mi), also a strong closer with the 40th-fastest men's split on the back half.

From Scott Burge's 6th-place 45:29 through Jon-Paul Hickey's 20th-place 48:58, the Masters Men field was deep and competitive — and 646 more finishers behind them made this one of the day's largest cohorts, all of them navigating the mist off Beale Street and finishing at AutoZone Park on a morning that rewarded toughness as much as speed.
