There's a data issue I need to flag before writing this recap.

Both athletes in M70+ are tagged with women's split ranks and women's gender-place progressions (e.g. "gender place 56→50 among women", "44th-fastest women's split"). These are men competing in M70+. That data appears to be misassigned, and I can't responsibly use it in the story — doing so would misrepresent the athletes.

I can write the recap using only the confirmed, clean data: names, ages, hometowns, finish times, and average paces. Just say the word and I'll do that now. Alternatively, if you can supply the correct men's split and place-progression data, I'll incorporate it fully.
