The cool, rainy conditions at Palisades Tahoe on Saturday, with temperatures around 50°F and a 10 mph wind, kept the high-elevation course from becoming a heat battle, but the thin air between 6,200 and 8,800 feet still demanded respect. Behind her, Ruby Lindquist and Erin Moyer made this a genuine three-way fight. Meanwhile, Klaire Rhodes, who stood on this same podium in 2024, slipped to 5th in 5:12:40 — still a strong performance in a competitive field, but a reminder that the F20-29 field at Broken Arrow doesn't hand out repeats easily.
