This one came down to the width of a timing mat. Riley Comstock of Acworth and Sharpsburg's Carson Dobur both averaged 5:01 per mile and both crossed at 31:11, but Comstock's chip fired first and the win is his. The two ran near-mirror races through the men's field — Comstock climbing 36th→24th, Dobur 37th→25th — and Comstock sealed it with the 21st-fastest men's split from 5M to the finish, out-kicking his rival on the closing stretch after Dobur had thrown down the 24th-fastest men's split on 4M→5M to stay glued to him.

Behind the duel, 16-year-old Dash Brackin authored the biggest move of the day. Starting the race in 50th among the men, he sliced his way to 31st by the line, powered by the 28th-fastest men's split on 4M→5M, and locked up 3rd in the U-20-heavy elite field at 32:06 — 55 seconds back of the leaders but well clear of everyone else.

Bo Colpaert took 4th in 32:42 at 5:16/mi, though the finish stung a little: after climbing to 38th in the men's field, he slipped to 40th over the final stretch. Levi Howard did the opposite, grinding from 52nd to 44th and closing with the 37th-fastest men's split on 5M→FINISH to claim 5th in 33:15. Connor Grifin (6th, 33:31) and Malcolm Phillips (7th, 33:49) kept the sub-34 club going.
