Rebecca Kainer made the F10-19 race her own from start to finish, crossing in 1:08:17 at a 9:59/mi clip — a pace that looks even more impressive given the course climbs between roughly 6,200 and 7,500 feet above sea level. What makes her run particularly compelling is how it unfolded: she sat 8th among women at the Snow King checkpoint, then unleashed one of the fastest closing segments in the entire women's field to finish 5th among all women and untouchable in her own field.

Ella Joyes, just 14 years old and racing out of Lander, WY, claimed second in 1:30:57 — a gutsy effort on a mountain course at this elevation. Fiona Francis (15, Truckee) was right behind her in 1:33:36, and Francis's finishing segment deserves a closer look: her Snow King→Finish split ranked 35th among all women, a strong closer that moved her from 82nd to 61st in the women's field. Eve Muhlner (16, Washington, DC) rounded out the top four in 1:35:47, having run the 67th-fastest women's split on the Olympic Valley East→Snow King segment.

The back half of the field told a different story. Alia Jed (14, IVGID, NV) finished 5th in 2:03:12, followed by Claire Humphrey (16, San Jose) in 2:11:11. Audrey Amato and Rubi Cervantes — both 19 — completed the eight-woman field in 2:31:44 and 2:34:23 respectively, separated by just under three minutes across a course that asks plenty of every runner who toes the line.
