Nicole Giammo set the tone early and never let up. Her 44:37 — a 7:11/mi clip through Cleveland's humid, breezy streets — stood in a class of its own in the F30-34 age group. With 83% humidity and a 15 mph wind making every mile feel heavier, that kind of pace demands respect. Meier's 45:53 was genuinely strong in its own right, but the gap between first and second was simply too wide to bridge.

Behind the top two, the race got interesting fast. Amber Sours (3rd, 50:08) and Abigail Marquard (4th, 50:18) were locked in a genuine duel — just 10 seconds apart after 6.2 miles, running at 8:04 and 8:06 per mile respectively. A few ticks either way and that podium slot changes hands. Then came Rebecca Riemer-Sander in 5th (51:30) and Lindsey Hoffman in 6th (51:36), separated by a mere 6 seconds, with Mackenzie Keriazes rounding out the top seven in 51:52.

The field of 99 finishers spread out steadily from there, with Patricia Colella (9th, 54:03) and Mattie Vanderhorst (10th, 54:04) separated by a single second — the tightest margin anywhere in the top 20. The 20th finisher, Kalie Catterall, crossed in 59:30, illustrating just how wide a competitive range this age group brought to Cleveland on a day that tested everyone who toed the line.
