Michele Marie McClure of San Dimas made this one look authoritative from the start. Her 7:49/mi average translated to a 1:42:33 finish — a time that left the rest of F60-64 well in her wake. Jennifer No of Beaumont was the closest challenger, clocking 1:48:03 at 8:15/mi, but that's a 5:30 gap that tells its own story: McClure was in a different gear entirely.

The race's most dramatic subplot belonged to Catherine Cameron of Chino Hills. She was flying early — sitting 16th among all women through the opening miles — and still held 74th among women at the midpoint. But the back half unraveled, and she finished 650th among women by the line. She still claimed 5th in F60-64 in 2:02:46, but the data paints a vivid picture of a runner who went out hard and paid for it. Meanwhile, Jennifer No was doing the opposite: she moved from 236th among women at the first checkpoint to 173rd at the finish, posting the 155th-fastest women's closing split in the field to lock up 2nd place.

Yoshie Stuebs of Torrance rounded out the podium in 3rd at 1:53:29 (8:39/mi), also a strong mover — climbing from 441st among women at the first check all the way to 293rd by the finish, with the 271st-fastest women's second-half split. Diana Theron of Laguna Beach took 4th in 2:00:11, and Patty Gomez (2:03:39) and Nancy Clinkenbeard (2:04:44) followed in 6th and 7th, separated by just over a minute across three finishers. The 59°F morning with calm winds gave everyone a fair shot — and 128 women in F60-64 made the most of it.
