Jaden Trujillo of Lincoln claimed the M1-19 title on a cool, humid San Francisco morning, finishing in 2:49:17 at a 6:27/mi clip. His race was a study in patient progression — he moved from 29th among men at the early checkpoints all the way to 17th by the finish, steadily picking off competitors in the back half. A strong 14.95-to-18-mile segment, where he posted the 11th-fastest men's split on that stretch, was a clear inflection point in his surge to the front.

Jaime Zepeda Pina of Cupertino made it a genuine contest, finishing just 60 seconds back in 2:50:17 at 6:30/mi. His race unfolded differently — he ran near the front early among men (15th at the first checkpoint), faded into the mid-pack through the middle miles, then launched a sharp move from the 14.95-to-18-mile segment where he posted the 6th-fastest men's split on that stretch. That surge brought him back up to 6th among men before the final miles settled him into 2nd in the M1-19 field. Adrian Cuellar of Sanger ran a strong early race — as high as 5th among men through the first segment — and his 5th-fastest men's split on the 2.2-to-5.7-mile stretch showed genuine early-race strength. He finished 3rd in 2:51:17.

Koyo Kai, just 17 years old out of Milpitas, held a composed 2:52:08 for 4th at 6:34/mi, while Neel Fulton (5th, 2:58:07) and Kevin Manni (6th, 2:59:45) rounded out the sub-3-hour performers. The field ran deep all the way down — 47 finishers in total, including 15-year-old Ethan Chan (12th, 3:16:33) and, most notably, 13-year-old Dominic Bousquet of San Rafael, who covered 26.2 miles in 3:23:37. That's a full marathon at 7:46/mi for a middle schooler — one of the day's most quietly impressive results.
