Her 6th-fastest women's split on the Hobart 2→Snow Valley Peak 2 stretch was the engine of that climb. Danwei Guo, 55, traced a similar arc — 19th among women through the early miles before a sharp move on the Bull Wheel→Diamond Peak segment pushed her into the top 10 among women and secured 3rd in F50-59 at 15:47:02.

Gretchen Brugman, 52, of Truckee — racing practically on home terrain — posted the 13th-fastest women's split on Hobart→Tunnel Creek and finished 4th at 16:31:19. The gap from 4th to 5th was 48 minutes, with Jennifer Yelland (17:19:34) and Carrie Hyatt (17:23:59) separated by just four and a half minutes in a tight battle for 5th and 6th. All 20 listed finishers — and three more beyond them — completed one of the most demanding 100K courses in the American West, with 23 women in F50-59 crossing the line.
