Kelly Ridgway put this race away early and never let go. Her 18:39:20 finish secured a clear 2nd place and a gap of over four hours to the three women behind her — a testament to how thoroughly she separated herself from the back of the F60-69 field.

Karla Moore (23:03:50), Tracy Donovan (23:36:16), and Gina Session (23:50:39) waged their own quiet battle across the final miles. Moore, the local from Reno, held her position through most of the race before fading slightly in the women's field late, finishing 3rd. Donovan actually gained ground in the women's field from checkpoint to checkpoint — moving from 78th to 72nd before her final 74th — and her 56th-fastest women's split on Bull Wheel 2→Tunnel Creek 2 showed she was still competing hard. Session, a Carson City local racing on familiar terrain, closed with the 65th-fastest women's split from Waterfall to the finish, crossing in 23:50:39. Fourteen minutes separated 3rd from 5th — a tight and hard-earned conclusion to a long day at altitude.
