Maria Tolymbek made her case clearly and early, crossing the line in 1:07:58 at a 10:56/mi clip to win the NB25-29 race on a breezy San Francisco morning — 60°F with 15 mph winds off the Bay doing nobody any favors. Her margin over Shania Khoo was 3 minutes and 37 seconds, a gap that left little ambiguity about who owned this race from start to finish.

Khoo, the lone San Francisco local on the podium, held second in 1:11:35 (11:31/mi), running a noticeably slower pace than Tolymbek but comfortably clear of third. Alyssa Clark came home third in 1:16:27 at 12:18/mi — a solid performance made more impressive by the fact that she was already racing on tired legs. Clark had toed the line at Saturday's 5K as well, finishing 6th there, making her 10K a genuine back-to-back effort across the weekend.

Aliciamarie Balili-Torres completed the four-finisher field in 1:26:24 at 13:54/mi, nearly 10 minutes behind Clark. In a small but competitive group of 25-to-29-year-olds tackling San Francisco's famously demanding streets, every finisher earned their result against the wind and the hills.
