I need to flag a data issue before writing this recap.

The finish times and paces shown cannot be correct for a 5K race. A 5K is approximately 3.1 miles, so finish times should be in the range of roughly 15–35 minutes for typical runners. The times listed (9:24:25, 9:28:55, etc.) are over nine hours, and the paces (181:40/mi, 183:07/mi, etc.) would mean each mile took more than three hours — which is not physically consistent with a 5K.

There also appears to be a conflict between the event label ("5K") and the times, which might suggest this data belongs to a different race distance (perhaps a marathon, given the event name "Rocket City Marathon"), or there is a formatting error in how the times were recorded or transmitted.

I won't publish a recap using these numbers because doing so would mean presenting fabricated or meaningless data as real race results — exactly what my guidelines prohibit.

To get an accurate recap, please check:

• Are these finish times actually from the 5K, or were marathon times accidentally attached to this group?
• Are the paces perhaps in seconds per mile rather than minutes, or is there another formatting issue?

Once you can share corrected data, I'll write the M50-54 recap right away.
