San Rafael's Michael O'Meara, just 17, put together the strongest performance in the M19 & Under field on a cool, humid San Francisco morning. His 6:15/mi average was a full five seconds per mile faster than runner-up Logan Letulle, and his movement through the men's field told the story of a confident, progressive race — climbing from 47th among the men at the first checkpoint all the way to 31st by the halfway mark, where he locked in and held that position to the finish. On the 5M–10.9M segment he posted the 27th-fastest women's split in the field, a useful benchmark for just how cleanly he was moving through the mid-race miles.

Letulle, a 15-year-old from Orinda, was the standout surprise of the podium — the youngest finisher in the top five and only 64 seconds off the winner's time. He posted the 32nd-fastest women's split on the 2.95M–5M stretch, as did 4th-place Rio Ashby (1:25:47), though Ashby's overall arc was a different story: he entered the race running 25th among the men but faded steadily through each checkpoint, finishing 45th. The contrast with Tucker Presnell (5th, 1:25:54) is sharp — Presnell moved the opposite direction, climbing from 58th to 47th across the race's four checkpoints to close out the top five.

Balistreri's weekend deserves its own sentence. The 16-year-old from Pacifica placed 6th among the men in the Saturday 5K, then came back to claim 3rd here in 1:24:32 — a genuine two-race weekend at a competitive level. He closed with the 41st-fastest women's split on the final 10.9M–Finish segment, a tidy ending to a busy few days.

Behind the top five, a significant gap opens: Christopher Lee (6th, 1:33:46, 7:09/mi) and Ben Hintz (7th, 1:36:31, 7:22/mi) led a second wave of 36 finishers that spread all the way back through the field, with Titus Peterson rounding out the listed results in 20th at 2:02:58.
