Gabriel Tom simply ran away from the M20-24 field on a warm, humid morning in Poipu. His 6:16/mi average was a cut above the rest — Hyrum Johnson's 6:55/mi runner-up effort was genuinely strong in its own right, but Tom had already built an insurmountable lead by the time the course reached the 11.05-mile mark. Johnson did close well on that final stretch, posting the 12th-fastest split in the field from 11.05 miles to the finish, and he came home in 1:30:43 to claim second comfortably.

Kris Suri (North Vancouver, BC) rounded out the podium in 1:35:49 at 7:19/mi, holding a steady 28th place among the men across the second half of the race — consistent if unspectacular. Behind him, the race got interesting. Jordan Goddard crossed 4th in 1:43:18 but had been visibly fading over the back half, sliding from 32nd to 46th among the men. Angus Cole, meanwhile, was moving the other direction — surging from 67th to 52nd to finish 5th in 1:44:30, just 1:12 behind Goddard. Cole's final-leg split (45th-fastest in the field from 11.05 miles to the finish) tells the story: he was reeling Goddard in, and nearly caught him.

Connor Weimholt (6th, 1:50:02) through Johnathan Kelly (20th, 2:11:39) filled out the listed field across a wide spread of finishing times, with 20 more finishers completing the 40-man group. The 77°F humidity made every minute earned out there on the Kaua'i coast a genuine one.
