Koblitz was the only one in the age group who answered with anything resembling a counter-move, posting the 2nd-fastest women's split from the half to 31K. She moved from 3rd among women at the half to 2nd by the finish, but Lemon had already built too much of a cushion — the final margin was three minutes flat. Catherine Gomez rounded out the F30-34 podium in 3:21:32, running steady enough to hold 14th among women throughout the second half.

Behind the podium, the race had its own drama. Chelsey Seagren was methodical and patient, climbing from 26th among women at the 10K all the way to 20th by the finish — the biggest mover in the age group. Crawford, by contrast, ran the opposite arc, sitting 15th among women through the half before slipping back to 21st. In a race this warm and windy, pacing decisions showed up clearly in the results.
