• Michelle Petrillo crossed 2nd in 9:12:23, logging the 26th-fastest women's split on Snow Valley Peak→Hobart — a stretch where she was clearly reeling in competitors ahead of her.
• Lina McCain rounded out the podium in 9:43:02, running a steady women's field climb from 46th to 39th across the race.
• Kathy Slocum (6th, 10:05:31) and Cathy Fischer (5th, 10:04:17) finished just 74 seconds apart after more than ten hours on a course that tops out near 9,000 feet.

Bronwyn Hogan's win was anything but a wire-to-wire cruise. She spent much of the early going hovering around 43rd–44th among the women, but the Hobart→Waterfall leg told a different story: her 17th-fastest women's split on that stretch vaulted her all the way to 28th in the women's field, a gain of 15 places in a single segment. That kind of surge, at high altitude on a course that has already chewed through hours of climbing, is the kind of move that wins races — and it did. She finished in 9:09:00 at 17:40/mi.

Michelle Petrillo ran a mirror-image race in some ways. She began the day in a strong position (22nd among women) before drifting back to 32nd by the finish, but her 26th-fastest women's split on the Snow Valley Peak→Hobart stretch shows she still had real pop when it mattered. The gap to Hogan — 3:23 — was set before the final miles, and Petrillo couldn't quite claw it back. Her 9:12:23 was a clear and earned 2nd place.

Lina McCain (3rd, 9:43:02) and Avril Harcourt (4th, 9:55:28) both finished well clear of the 10-hour mark, with Harcourt — at 67, the oldest top-four finisher — logging the 31st-fastest women's split on Waterfall→Finish to hold off Cathy Fischer (5th, 10:04:17) and Kathy Slocum (6th, 10:05:31), who finished within 74 seconds of each other after a full day on the mountain.

Aukse Rudokaite finished 7th in 10:39:12, followed by Beth Christensen in 8th at 11:42:40. Cynthia Smith and Janice Lisle — both showing 28:07/mi average pace — completed the field in 9th and 10th respectively, with Smith's 14:33:35 edging Lisle's 14:33:37 by the narrowest of margins.
