Ross Brady, running out of Asheville, was the clear class of the rest. His 5:56:20 and a 2nd-fastest split on the Hobart→Waterfall leg show he found real speed in the back half of the course, and his gender place progression — 9→7→10→6→5 — tells the story of a race that had some turbulence before he locked in a strong finish. The gap from Brady back to 3rd was over an hour, which underlines just how complete the front two's performances were.

The Salt Lake City-based McQuivey brothers turned the 3rd-place battle into a family affair. Mason (7:03:49) and Myles (7:11:34) both posted their best splits on the Snow Valley Peak→Hobart segment — Mason's 9th-fastest and Myles's 8th-fastest among the men — and Myles actually ran that stretch a touch quicker, but Mason's earlier advantage held. Elliot Hayes rounded out the top five in 7:51:54, making up ground steadily through the back half with the 13th-fastest Snow Valley Peak→Hobart split among the men.

The race's most striking footnote belongs to Wyckoff and Balbuena, both 25 and both from Napa, CA — they crossed the line in 9:00:18 and 9:00:20, a two-second gap after nine hours of running at altitude. Ravi Jotwani closed out the field in 15:29:12, completing all 12 finishers across a course where the elevation alone earns respect.
