• Jennifer Robles (3rd, 55:19) was the biggest mover in the group, climbing from 104th to 33rd among women on the back half — the 27th-fastest women's closing split in the field.
• Places 4–6 separated by just two seconds: Amanda Wilkins (4th, 56:11), Jennifer Jeffers (5th, 56:13), and Hazel Johnson (6th, 56:14) were locked in a three-way battle to the line.

Sydney Ramos of Clovis ran the F25-29 field into the ground, crossing in 46:19 at a 7:27/mi clip — a pace that held her 2nd among all women throughout the race. Her 3:33 margin over runner-up Regina Doi (49:52, 8:02/mi) was never seriously threatened, and her 9th-fastest women's closing split confirmed she didn't coast it in either.

Doi, a Fresno local, ran a composed race to finish 2nd in 49:52, moving from 8th to 10th among women overall — a slight fade in the women's standings but a clear hold on the silver in her age group. Jennifer Robles of Sunnyvale was the story of the back half, surging from 104th to 33rd among women between the mile mark and the finish. Her 27th-fastest women's closing split translated to a 55:19 finish and 3rd place — a strong charge on a warm day.

The real drama played out in the fight for 4th through 6th. Amanda Wilkins (56:11), Jennifer Jeffers (56:13), and Hazel Johnson (56:14) finished within two seconds of each other, all averaging right around 9:03/mi. Wilkins and Jeffers both ran the faster closing splits — 44th and 40th among women respectively — to edge ahead, but Johnson was right on their heels at the line. Behind them, Brianna Weber (7th, 56:50) and Katie Weimer (8th, 58:01) rounded out a competitive top eight in what was a deep and hard-fought F25-29 field across 55 finishers.
