Behind her, Saint Helena produced one of the day's quiet storylines: three of the top three finishers hail from the same small Napa Valley town. Esther Belusko (15, Napa) took 2nd in 1:39:08, running a 7:34/mi average and closing strongly with the 109th-fastest women's split on the back half. Addison Max (16, Saint Helena) rounded out the podium in 1:45:05 at 8:01/mi, though she slid from 154th to 187th among women across the second segment — Belusko clearly the stronger closer of the two.

The middle of the field offered its own drama. Audrey Schallon (4th, 1:48:13) was sharp through the midpoint, running the 140th-fastest women's split from 3.1M to 6.9M, but faded to 234th among women by the finish. Nia Azarcon (5th, 1:52:48) ran the opposite arc — moving from 394th to 298th among women through the middle miles before settling at 324th, a notable charge through the field. Katherine Heil (6th, 1:59:08) and Tatum Smith (7th, 2:04:12) rounded out the top seven, with 13-year-old J. Langum (8th, 2:04:37) finishing just 25 seconds back — a composed run from the youngest finisher in the top half of the field.
