Huntsville's unseasonable warmth — 70°F with a 17 mph wind and thick humidity — made for a demanding morning, and the three women who toed the F70-74 line earned every step. Pamela Willmore, 70, made it look as clean as the conditions would allow, clicking off 11:11/mi to cross in 1:09:29 and claim the win by a commanding margin.

Teresa Chandler, 73, was the only other finisher to break the 1:30 barrier, posting 1:26:20 at 13:54/mi for a clear second-place finish.
