The Athens native crossed in 19:57, the only man in the group to break 20 minutes, and his 6:25/mi pace was a full 35 seconds per mile faster than runner-up Damian Moctezuma. That margin of 1:47 at the finish tells the story of a wire-to-wire performance with no drama at the front.

Behind Mould, Moctezuma (21:44) and Gage Gross (22:43) locked up 2nd and 3rd, with just under a minute separating them.
