On a warm June morning in Boston — 77°F, dry, with a steady breeze — Johanna Holmes of N. Easton ran a composed, progressive race to take the F15-19 title. She entered the final 2K stretch sitting 98th among women and kept pressing, finishing 89th with the 64th-fastest women's closing split in the field. Her 44:36 and 7:11/mi average left no doubt at the line.

Lilliana Macrina of North Smithfield, RI held her ground throughout, hovering near 115th–123rd among women before rallying to 116th at the finish for a 45:58 clocking. The 1:22 margin to Holmes was real, but Macrina's consistency was notable — she never drifted far from where she started. Sophie Wax told a different story entirely: the 19-year-old from Newton began deep in the women's field at 285th, then spent the entire race reeling runners in, arriving at 3rd in the age group in 48:39. Her 80th-fastest women's closing split helped seal the podium.

The battle for 4th and 5th was the tightest of the day. Margot Madison of Newton finished in 49:58 — her 175th-fastest women's split on the 5K-to-8K stretch showed she was moving — while Hannah Bryson of Wilmington crossed in 50:04, backed by the 157th-fastest women's closing split in the field. Shea Cushing, also of Wilmington, matched Bryson's 50:04 but placed 6th by the narrowest of margins. Across 48 finishers, the F15-19 field delivered real racing from front to back.
