Emily Sisson made the F30-34 title look almost effortless on a warm Boston morning — 77°F, a 12 mph wind, and 31% humidity are not conditions that invite fast racing, yet the 30-year-old from Providence crossed in 32:03 at 5:09 per mile. She sat 2nd among all women at every checkpoint and never wavered, then turned the screws on the closing stretch with the 2nd-fastest women's split from 8K to the finish. That's a wire-to-wire performance with an exclamation point at the end.

Marielle Hall — also 30, also from Providence — gave her training partner a genuine race through the early miles, sitting 6th among all women through 8K before moving to 5th by the tape in 32:51. Her 4th-fastest women's closing split shows she was building, not fading, in the heat. Laura Thweatt of Superior, CO closed out the podium in 33:18, her strongest segment coming in the middle of the race where she posted the 7th-fastest women's split from 5K to 8K and climbed to 8th among all women by the finish.

Behind the top three, the race for 4th was its own story. Reilly Kiernan (36:14, 5:50/mi) and Amy Tortorello (36:26, 5:52/mi) traded 14th and 15th place among all women through the middle miles before swapping spots in the final stretch — Kiernan edging ahead by 12 seconds. Tammy Hsieh (37:00) and Anna Steinman (37:24) followed in 6th and 7th, with 473 women ultimately finishing the age group on a demanding summer morning in Boston.
