Tara Sims of Sugar Land, TX, claimed the F30-34 title in 28:59 — a 9:20/mi clip that held up against a field running hard into frigid conditions. Right behind her, Tylar Brooks of North Richland Hills, TX, crossed in 29:13, a 9:24/mi effort that left just 14 seconds between the top two. That gap is close enough to feel the breath on your neck, but the places were decided and Sims earned it.

Elizabeth Wilson of Huntsville rounded out the podium in 29:47 (9:35/mi), 34 seconds clear of Perrin Windham's 29:57 (9:38/mi) in fourth. Windham in turn held off Kasey Thompson — also of Huntsville — by 20 seconds, Thompson finishing fifth in 30:17 at 9:45/mi. Five women inside 1:18 of each other made for a genuinely competitive front pack, especially with temperatures hovering at 29°F and a stiff wind making every second harder to hold.

Behind the top five, Alexis Deal ran 30:52 in sixth and Hillary Parker crossed in 31:24 for seventh, both well clear of the next cluster. Anna Thompson (8th, 33:01) and Brooke Schultz (9th, 33:26) ran together in spirit if not side by side, separated by just 25 seconds. Morgan White (10th, 35:18) led the second half of the field home, with 31 women in total completing the race — a full and competitive F30-34 showing on one of the coldest mornings Huntsville has seen on race day.
