Taylor Fisher owned the F25-29 age group from start to finish, crossing in 1:50:32 at an 8:26/mi clip — nearly six minutes clear of runner-up Diana Earley. On a warm, windy December morning in Huntsville (70°F, 17 mph winds, and humidity pushing 76%), that kind of sustained pace demanded real discipline, and Fisher delivered. The Huntsville local was already sitting comfortably inside the top 25 women by 10K and held her position through the finish.

Behind her, the real drama was in the chase. Earley's late surge was the story of the age group's back half: she picked off 14 women between the 10K mark and the finish line to lock up 2nd place in 1:56:12. Alina Limpert, also of Huntsville, ran a similarly strong closing stretch to take 3rd in 1:58:26, gaining 24 spots among women over the same stretch. Earley and Limpert were separated by just over two minutes, with Dana Cruse of San Diego slotting in 4th at 1:59:40 — the only other finisher under the two-hour mark.

Abigail Landwehr deserves a special mention for sheer tenacity. Starting the back half buried in 94th among women, she reeled in 40 runners over the final stretch to finish 5th in the age group at 2:01:14. Hannah Finnegan and Kelley Murphy rounded out a tight 5th-through-7th cluster, all finishing within 87 seconds of each other between 2:01:40 and 2:02:41. Across 39 finishers, the F25-29 age group delivered one of the more compelling closing acts of the morning.
