She held her position among the women's field through the second half and crossed comfortably clear of the podium battle unfolding behind her. Margot Ridout, 47, from nearby Corte Madera, finished 3rd in 1:34:35 — steady throughout, with the 58th-fastest women's split on the closing 6.9M-to-finish segment. She had just 37 seconds to spare over Emi Yasaka, 46, of San Rafael, who ran 1:35:12 but faded slightly in the women's field over the final stretch after gaining ground in the middle miles.

Holly Tate (5th, 1:37:15) and Kristin Robillard (6th, 1:38:34) — both from Ross, CA — rounded out a competitive top six separated by just over a minute. Bridget Beckstoffer, 49, of Saint Helena, was the oldest finisher in the top eight, crossing in 1:41:08. Jill McCarthy (9th, 1:42:39) and Lori Braunstein (10th, 1:44:27) closed out the top ten in a field of 135 that showed real depth across the board.
