The 48-year-old from Modesto crossed in 1:47:23, a gap of nearly 20 minutes over the next finisher, and added the 7th-fastest Mile 10→Finish split among all women in the race to cap it off. She also climbed from 10th to 9th among women overall on that final stretch, a small but telling sign of a strong finish.

Behind Han, the race for 2nd and 3rd produced one of the day's more compelling finishes. Michelle Vannelli (46, Pleasant Hill) and Sarah Schrader (45, Elk Grove) both stopped the clock at 2:07:19, but they got there very differently. Vannelli held a stronger position through the middle miles — running the 24th-fastest women's split from Mile 4 to Mile 10 — while Schrader was further back in the women's field at that point.
