M75-79: Roston owns the field from gun to tape

Michael C Roston of Carlsbad, CA had the M75-79 race entirely to himself on July 26 — and he made it count. With 15 mph winds rolling through the city and humidity sitting at 70%, conditions weren't exactly a gift, and Roston navigated them all the way to the finish line in 1:00:55.

There's something to be said for simply showing up and getting it done. At 76, Roston laced up, took on a legitimate San Francisco 5K course, and earned his place in the results. No one else in his field did.
