Ernesto Delgado, 45, from Concord, claimed second in 19:29 at 6:16/mi — a solid performance in its own right, and one that left him comfortably clear of the chase pack. Renaldo Williams, 44, of San Francisco, rounded out the podium in 20:59 (6:45/mi), more than a minute and a half back from Delgado. John Lee, 56, took fourth in 21:30, and then things got genuinely competitive: Mosner (21:54) and Slee (22:01) were separated by just seven seconds for fifth and sixth, running nearly stride for stride at 7:03 and 7:05 per mile respectively.

Further down, Juan Rangel, 58, of San Mateo was seventh in 23:06, and a tight cluster formed around the 23-minute mark — Alex Leenson (23:23) and Serhiy Nahibin (23:28) just five seconds apart for eighth and ninth. Andrii Savchenko and Jaime Sandoval both clocked 24:06 for tenth and eleventh, the timing system splitting them by fractions. Across all 194 finishers, the Masters Men put on a race with a dominant winner up front and genuine competition throughout — exactly what the streets of San Francisco deserved.
