Lisa Levin's 1:32:52 was the commanding performance of the day in the F50-54 age group. Running 7:05 per mile through 71°F heat and a 17 mph wind off the Virginia Beach coast, she posted the 25th-fastest women's split on the 5K–10K segment and never relinquished the lead. The two-minute-plus cushion over Ann Gill at the tape tells the real story: this was never particularly close at the front.

Behind Gill, Eve Campbell put together one of the more quietly impressive races in the group. Starting 111th among women, she worked her way to 83rd by the finish, picking off runners steadily through every checkpoint. Her 65th-fastest women's split on the 15K–20K leg was where she did the most damage, and it secured her third place in 1:39:32.

The race for fourth was where the late drama unfolded. Caroline Roman entered the 20K checkpoint in 182nd among women and finished 171st, running the 114th-fastest women's split on that final stretch — enough to hold off Virginia Hall by 2:24. Hall (1:50:07) and Erdenechimeg Khandmaa (1:50:11) were nearly inseparable at the finish, separated by just four seconds after 13.1 miles in challenging conditions.

With 254 finishers in the F50-54 age group, the depth was real — and the spread from Levin's 1:32:52 down through the field reflects just how varied the day felt for runners tackling the wind and humidity along the Virginia Beach course.
