Kristen Kelly, a 35-year-old from San Francisco, ran the F35-39 field into the ground on a cool, overcast morning along the city's waterfront. Her 7:14/mi average produced a 44:58 finish — 58 seconds ahead of second place — a margin that speaks to a commanding, wire-to-wire performance in a 214-runner field.

Behind her, Junaline Gines (39, San Francisco) and Jenny Brown (35, Oakland) waged the race's most compelling podium battle.
