Kim Wong rounded out the top eight in 53:18, with Jasia Hu (9th, 54:13) and Raquel Acuña (10th, 54:37) — Acuña traveling all the way from Bogotá — completing a top ten that stretched from Berkeley to Colombia. The field ran under cool, overcast skies at 64°F with a light breeze — about as good as San Francisco gets for racing — and 145 women took full advantage.
