The 70-year-old Fresno local crossed in 28:33, running 9:11 per mile, and the gap she opened was decisive: nearly seven full minutes back to 2nd-place Dale Huffman (35:26). That's not a close race at the front — it's a statement.

Behind Huffman, Nancy Talley (37:34) and Mao Her (39:35) rounded out the top four within a two-minute window, making that stretch the most competitive in the group. Julie Small (42:02) and Nancy Ayala (42:59) ran nearly in lockstep through 5th and 6th, separated by less than a minute. Anne Wick (46:01) and Sally Mistretta (46:17) were even closer — just 16 seconds apart in 7th and 8th.
