• Helen Webb (age 20, Chattanooga, TN) won the F20-24 age group in 1:32:14 — a 7:02/mi average that was nearly 30 minutes faster than the runner-up.
• Caryss Connor and Cassidy Hinchman, both from Tullahoma, TN, claimed 2nd and 3rd, finishing within 3:14 of each other at 2:01:50 and 2:05:04.
• Angelica Hernandez-Ortiz was one of the few in the group to gain ground in the second half, moving up five places among women from the 10K to the finish — the strongest closing move in the age group.
• Hannah Payne made the sharpest fade of the field, dropping 32 places among women after the 10K.

Helen Webb simply ran a different race than everyone else in the F20-24 group. Her 7:02/mi average produced a 1:32:14 that stood nearly half an hour clear of 2nd place — a margin that tells you the age-group title was never really in doubt. Webb also posted the 6th-fastest women's split on the 10K-to-finish stretch in the entire women's field, meaning she didn't just lead wire-to-wire; she was pressing hard all the way home.

Behind her, the battle for the podium played out between two Tullahoma runners. Caryss Connor held 2nd at 2:01:50, with Cassidy Hinchman 3:14 back in 3rd at 2:05:04. Both ran steady second halves — Connor's 61st-fastest and Hinchman's 77th-fastest women's splits on the closing stretch were consistent with their overall paces — and neither surrendered ground to the other in the back half.

Fourth and fifth place produced the most drama in the age group. Angelica Hernandez-Ortiz (2:11:54) actually gained five spots among women after the 10K, finishing with the 89th-fastest women's closing split — a composed, well-managed second half. Hannah Payne crossed just 15 seconds behind her at 2:12:09, but the story was different: Payne fell 32 places among women between the 10K and the finish, one of the steeper second-half fades in the women's field. Fifteen seconds separated them at the tape, but their journeys to that finish line looked nothing alike.
